Rob Lewis is a lawyer and businessman with decades of experience. With over twenty years of experience in litigation at every level, Rob knows how to help clients navigate through important business and legal decisions. In recent years, Rob has devoted a significant portion of his practice to acting as Attorney For Property, Guardian for Property, and Estate Trustee During Litigation.
Rob practices in the area of corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, and real estate, with a special focus on business strategy, succession and estate planning, and the purchase, sale and merger of small businesses. An entrepreneur at heart, Rob’s work has taken him all across North America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Much of Rob’s work is now referred from other lawyers and professionals.
In his spare time, Rob is active in the Ottawa-Gatineau area, and he has received the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award for achieving excellence in business, professional expertise and community involvement. Rob sits on the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. He is actively involved with the Knights of Columbus, and has organized fundraising dinners for many local charities. Rob has served on the Board of Directors of many area organizations such as the John Howard Society of Ottawa, the South Ottawa Mustangs Football Club, and the Canterbury Hockey Association. He is a long-serving minor hockey coach, is currently and previously served as Vice-Commodore of the Club de Yachting Portage Champlain Inc. (Hull Marina).
